Good to know
Street glasses and sunglasses are not rated for sports impact — even with polycarbonate lenses, the frame itself can break. For ball and racquet sports, purpose-made goggles are the safer choice.

Which sports need protective goggles?
Any sport with a fast ball, racquet, stick or elbows nearby — basketball, racquetball, squash, pickleball, soccer and baseball are common examples.
Can goggles hold a strong prescription?
Most prescriptions work. Very strong prescriptions or high astigmatism can limit frame choices; we'll check before you order.
Does insurance cover sports goggles?
Some plans allow them as your frame benefit or offer a discount. We'll check your plan.
