Good to know
By federal law we need a valid contact lens prescription, which is different from a glasses prescription — it lists the exact lens brand, curve and diameter. It comes from a contact lens exam and fitting by an eye doctor. If yours has expired, you'll need a new exam first.
Contact Lenses: common questions
Can I buy contacts with my glasses prescription?
No. Contact lenses need their own prescription from a contact lens fitting. We're happy to fill a current contact lens prescription from any eye doctor.
Does my vision insurance cover contacts?
Most plans give a contact lens allowance in place of glasses for that benefit period. We'll check which option gives you more value.
Do you keep lenses in stock?
We keep popular lenses on hand and order the rest. Most orders arrive within a few business days.
